The 150 MW Hydro Power Project being developed in Kinnaur District of Himachal Pradesh is situated in a rugged and mountainous region with harsh weather conditions. The project's construction activities are particularly challenging due to the remote location and extreme winter temperatures that can drop as low as -15 degrees Celsius.

Despite these difficulties, RHPPL (Rathi Hydro Project Pvt. Limited), the company responsible for the construction of Reservoir and HRT, is making significant progress. The project involves the construction of a reservoir (2,65,000 cum capacity), headrace tunnel (HRT) 2,246.45 mtr, access roads, bridges, leak-proof flooring panels, Control room building and other related infrastructure.
